Community Rooms of various sizes are available to reserve at all Manatee Library locations, excluding the Little Discovery Center.

Individual and small group Study Rooms are available to reserve at several Manatee Library locations.

Most Manatee Library locations offer basic one-on-one technology help with a library staff member. These 30-minute sessions assist patrons with Androids, iPhones, tablets, laptops, and library eBook and eAudiobook resources.

With 38 pavilions spread across the county, we offer a perfect venue for every occasion—whether you're hosting a family gathering, a special event, or a community celebration. There's a space for everyone to enjoy and create lasting memories.

Recording studios are available at two (2) Manatee Library locations: Central Library and Lakewood Ranch Library.

To reserve an athletic field for a birthday party, group event, or travel ball team, email [email protected] with your requested dates, times, and preferred location. Be sure to review all fees and provide detailed information. Note that staffing, building access, parking, and field markings are not included in the rental.

Our campus is equipped with 23 FIFA regulation fields and a stadium with 3,000+ seats. Each field is comprised of Celebration-seeded Bermuda grass, which has excellent wear tolerance and is the preferred surface for reducing player injuries. Currently, we host a number of field sports on state, regional, national, and international levels.

Manatee Library offers complimentary passes to attractions and museums including The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, the Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary, the Florida Railroad Museum, and Imagine Museum.
