Individual and small group Study Rooms are available to reserve at most Manatee Library locations.

Study Room Use Policy

Study Rooms may be reserved for up to 2 hours, on a walk-in basis or up to 7 days in advance. Patrons who do not arrive in a timely manner to use their reserved study room forfeit its use for that allotted time. Upon arrival, check in with library staff to access a study room. Note that you may be asked to show photo ID.

Study Room Guidelines

• Study rooms may be booked in-person or online: manateelibrary.libcal.com/spaces
• Study rooms may be booked on a walk-in basis or up to 7 days in advance. The Library cannot guarantee availability.
• Study rooms may be requested for up to 2 hours per day per individual or group (not per email address used). For extensions of time at the end of a session, please speak with a staff member about availability.
• Upon arrival, please check in with library staff to access a study room. Note that you may be asked to show photo ID. 
• Study rooms may only be used during regular library hours, starting 15 minutes after the library opens and ending 15 minutes before the library closes.
• Study rooms may be released for other users if the individual or group is more than 15 minutes late without notice.
• Technology is not provided for the study rooms. 
• Users must vacate the room with their belongings by the end time of their booking.
• Repeated cancellations without notice may cause denial of future use of facilities.
• Drinks are permitted, but user is responsible for clean-up.
• Intended for one-on-one or small group study, tutoring, and collaboration. Not for solicitation of business or pursuit of commercial endeavors. 
• Granting permission for use of a library study room does not constitute an endorsement by Manatee County of the applicant. The Library’s name and address may not be used as the official address or headquarters of the user.
• The user is financially responsible for any damage to the room or its contents.
• If a study room user engages in conduct which disrupts the normal functions and service delivery of the library or otherwise violates the Library Use Policy, permission to use the facility may be withdrawn by library staff and users may be asked to leave or, in extreme circumstances, issued a trespass warning.
