VuSpex Offline Field Reports

As of November 1, 2024
Development Services is now offering VuSpex, a virtual building inspections tool that provides inspection services to contractors remotely, with the use of any device.

Offline inspection (field report) How it works
Contractors perform an onsite self-inspection, using the app to submit photos, video and notes for review by our inspector. Complete the inspection before you leave the job site and without inconvenience to the home or business owner.

Scheduling
Offline Reports will be completed within the VuSpex App and scheduled to a Licensed Inspector for review (See instructions below)

Contractors must have a cell phone with adequate resolution and signal quality and must be able to download the VuSpex GO App. If a contractor proceeds without approved inspections, it will be at their own risk. And they may be required to have 3rd party permits and inspections to correct the project.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Download the VuSpex GO App to your device: App Store | Google Play
2. After downloading the VuSpex GO App, please refer to the "Checklist of Required Photos "  instructions PDF document in order to submit the VuSpex Offline Field Report of the installation.
