Register for Blast Camp for Kids

Manatee County Sports & Leisure Services offers fun, active and engaging camp opportunities for children throughout the year at the G.T. Bray Recreation Center and John Marble Recreation Center.

Campers can enjoy a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, STEM, reading, games, swimming, field trips and more. Our goal is to provide recreational opportunities that keep kids active, encourage new experiences and create lasting memories in a safe and fun environment.

Summer Blast Camp

Make the most of summer break with Summer Blast Camp! Families can register for only the weeks they need or choose the weeks their child would most like to attend, providing flexibility for your family's schedule and budget.

Registration for Summer Blast begins April 1.

Fees

• Registration Fee: $30 (includes T-shirt)
• Weekly Fee: $150

Registration is required and space is limited each week. Payment for the individual week must be completed before your camper's spot is reserved. Paying the registration fee alone does not guarantee space in camp, a specific week or optional field trips.

The following information applies to Manatee County camp programs:

What to Expect: Campers will participate in different activities every 45 minutes. Campers will go swimming and attend fun field trips. campers will rotate through arts and crafts, PE games, game room, reading activities and our playground daily.

Camper Groups: Campers are grouped by age with a 15:1 camper-to-counselor ratio. Children must be able to participate in activities and remain with their group without requiring one-to-one assistance or supervision.

Refunds and Credits: Refunds are only provided if the program is canceled or a doctor's note is provided. Credit requests must be submitted in writing before the first day of camp. Approved credits expire one year from the date of approval.

Limited Capacity: Camp capacity is limited. Registration or participation in one week or session does not guarantee availability in another. A camper's spot is not reserved until the applicable session, or weekly fee has been paid.

Holiday Blast Camp

When school is out, Holiday Blast Camp gives kids in grades K–5 a place to stay active, engaged and having fun. Activities may include swimming, arts and crafts, PE games, game room activities and more.

Holiday Blast Camps are offered during select school breaks and generally follow the Manatee County Public Schools calendar.

Registration for one Holiday Blast session does not guarantee a camper's spot in another session. Each session must be registered and paid for individually.
