Summer Camp Registration for both campus locations, opens April 1. You can register online, or you can come to the G.T. Bray Recreation Center, 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton or John Marble Recreation Center, 3675 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, Fl 34203 and register in person.

 

 

 

 

All request for transfer/credit must be submitted via e-mail to amy.gray@mymanatee.org. Credits are not guaranteed and request must be received before the week or program has started.

We will be capturing photos on various occasions throughout each camp session, and these will be posted on our website, social media, and other camp-related materials. We always ensure photos are taken in an obvious and respectful manner. If you prefer not to be included, please inform the photographer.

The $30 registration fee does not secure your child’s spot in any of our camps. To guarantee a spot for your child, you must register and pay for the desired week(s) in advance. Please note that space is limited and camp sessions will fill up quickly. Once a week is full, we cannot accommodate additional campers due to programming space and camper-to-counselor ratios.

All refund requests require a written recommendation from a doctor indicating that the participant should withdraw from an activity or program to be entitled to a full or prorated refund. In the event that an activity or program is cancelled by the Sports & Leisure Services Department, the individual or group would be entitled to a full or prorated refund or credit. Registration fees are non-refundable. Refund requests take 4-6weeks to process.

Yes, there are space constraints in place. These constraints encompass minimum enrollment requirements necessary to facilitate the camp, as well as a cap on the number of attendees. To secure your child's spot in any of our camp programs, we recommend early registration, as we anticipate reaching full capacity.

Additionally, we are focused on maintaining ratios of 1:15, therefore affecting the number of campers permitted. We understand this will limit the number of participants permitted into our program; however we believe the experience benefits greatly from quality of service being provided.

Camps can be cancelled due to lack of enrollment. Please make every effort to register weeks in advance so a camp will not be cancelled unnecessarily.

Children ages 5-13 can register for summer camp. We do recommend that children have completed kindergarten before participating in our program. We do not allow children under 6 to attend option 1 field trips. All campers are placed with campers their age in a group of 15:1. We cannot provide 1on1 care for campers. If you are unsure if our camp is the right fit for your child, please contact us before registering: amy.gray@mymanatee.org For holiday camp due to less space and staffing we ask only grades k-5 to register.

HOLIDAY

During Holiday Blast Camp we do NOT provide Lunch or Snack. Parents are asked to pack a Lunch, Snack, and Water Bottle every day.

SUMMER

During Summer Blast Camp, we offer FREE lunches for weeks 1-9, courtesy of the Manatee County School Boards free lunch program. Please pack a lunch and snack for the last week of camp (week 10).

Children are expected to bring their own lunch during our holiday camps.
