What's Next

Manatee County is implementing phased openings of public facilities and spaces. Reopening plans are tentative and could change.

At all public spaces, please continue to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing.

  • No more than 10 per gathering
  • Individuals and groups should stay 6 feet apart.

Week of May 25

  • Tennis and pickleball courts are open (with restrictions)
    • Reservations are required at GT Bray - call (941) 742-5923
  • Skate parks are open
  • Rose, Portosueno, and Sunny Shores Parks are open
  • Robinson and Rye playgrounds are open
  • Manatee Beach Concession (AMI Cafe) and the Coquina Beach Concession are open
  • All ice vending machines at the Ft. Hamer, Coquina North, and Warner's Bayou Boat Ramps are open
  • Summer camp registration will open May 27 at 5 p.m.
    • Summer Blast Camp will be held at the G.T. Bray Park Recreation Center and the John H. Marble Recreation Center starting June 1.
    • Parks and Natural Resources' popular outdoor specialty camps will be offered at some County preserves starting June 8.

Now Open


Manatee County staff continue to serve the public and services will continue to operate despite the closure of public buildings. The public is encouraged to conduct transactions with the County online or over the phone whenever possible. Citizens can call 3-1-1 for more information.
