NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66 of Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing in the Manatee County Government Administration Building Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers, First Floor, on May 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or soon thereafter, to consider, act upon, enact or reject the following Resolution:

 

RESOLUTION NO. R-26-056                                    

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA; REGARDING FEES FOR WATER WELL PERMITTING; REVISING THE FEE SCHEDULE FOR WATER WELL PERMITTING IN MANATEE COUNTY; REPEALING AND SUPERSEDING CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATES.

 

Interested parties may appear and be heard at the meeting with respect to the proposed Resolution and related Ordinance. Pursuant to Section 286.0105 of Florida Statutes, if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter to be considered at the meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, she or he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record would include any testimony or evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. 

 

The proposed Resolution and related Ordinance are available for public inspection at the offices of the Manatee County Natural Resources Department, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, 8th floor, Bradenton, FL 34205, during regular business hours. A reasonable charge may be made for the provision of copies.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Manatee County Resolution No. R-20-153 and Section 125.66, Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, (Board) will conduct a public hearing on the 19th of May, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. or as soon thereafter in the Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers on the First Floor of the Manatee County Government Administrative Center, located at 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, 34205, to consider, act upon, adopt, or reject the following resolution:

RESOLUTION NO. R-26-026

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REGARDING NAMING A PUBLIC FACILITY; NAMING THE DOG PARK AT BLACKSTONE PARK AS THE “CHRISTINA TURLEY DOG PARK”; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

The proposed resolution may be inspected by the public during normal business hours in the office of Sports and Leisure Services 5502 33rd Avenue Drive West, Bradenton, Florida. Interested parties may appear at the public hearing and be heard with respect to the proposed resolution.

According to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if any person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board with respect to any matter to be considered at the meeting or hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose, he/she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record would include any testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

          NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 125.66(2)(a), Florida Statutes, that the Board of County Commissioners of Manatee County, Florida, will conduct a public hearing on May 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Honorable Patricia M. Glass Chambers, located on the first floor of the Manatee County Administration Center, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida, to consider the following ordinance:

 

ORDINANCE NO. 26-11

 

AN ORDINANCE OF MANATEE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING, RESTATING AND REPLACING ARTICLE XI, CHAPTER 2-2 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES REGARDING CRIMINAL BACKGROUND SCREENING FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY CRITICAL POSITIONS; RESTRICTING ACCESS TO RESULTS OF CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECKS TO AUTHORIZED COUNTY EMPLOYEES; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT, INCLUDING ORDINANCE 25-13; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

          All interested parties are invited to appear at this hearing and be heard, subject to the proper rules of conduct. Additionally, any comments filed with the Director of the Human Resource Department will be considered by the Board of County Commissioners and entered in the record Copies of the proposed ordinance may be inspected by the public during normal business hours in the Human Resources Department, 5213 4th Avenue Circle East, Bradenton, Florida.  A reasonable charge may be made for the provision of copies.
