Wildlife Spotlight A.M Risers Neal Preserve at Neal Preserve

Experience Neal Preserve in the quiet glow of dawn during this early morning birding walk through its elevated boardwalks, mangrove edges, and archaeological landscape. As the sun rises over Anna Maria Sound, coastal species become active, offering ideal viewing conditions and a peaceful start to the day. We’ll gather at 6:50 a.m. and conclude around 7:50 a.m. (with optional extension to 8:50 a.m. for larger groups or extended observation). The route follows Neal’s boardwalk loop and includes time at the observation tower, a perfect vantage point for spotting wading birds, raptors, and shoreline species beginning their morning routines. Program suitable for adults. Participants should bring a binoculars water bottle and wear clothing appropriate for the weather. We recommend sun protection, bug spray, and closed toed shoes. Binocular are provided for those who need them For more information contact cierra.nelson@mymanatee.org.
