WWII with Tom Hanks Documentary Screening and Discussion
Bradenton Mayor Gene Brown, Palmetto Mayor Dan West and Spectrum invite you to a special community screening and discussion, starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Join community leaders, Veterans, educators and residents for a special screening of an episode from The History Channel's landmark documentary series, World War II with Tom Hanks, followed by a community discussion panel exploring the stories, sacrifices and enduring legacy of the Greatest Generation.
A community reception will be at 5 p.m. with the 6 p.m. screening and panel discussion following at the Manatee Performing Arts Center, 502 Third Ave. W., Bradenton. There will be another screening, without the panel discussion at 2 p.m. Saturday.
