Operation: Sandbag Support

Manatee County Public Safety, in partnership with Community & Veterans Services, is hosting Operation: Sandbag Support, a free drive-thru event on Friday, June 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Manatee County Public Safety Center (2101 47th Terrace E., Bradenton, FL 34203).

During the event, Manatee County residents can receive 10 free pre-filled sandbags per household. Residents will remain in their vehicles while staff load the sandbags directly into their cars.

Home Delivery for Qualifying Residents

Residents may qualify for home delivery if they meet all of the following criteria:

  • 60 years of age or older
  • Transportation dependent
  • Live in Flood Zones A or B

Eligible residents can request delivery through an online form that screens for flood zone and transportation access. Residents who do not qualify for delivery will automatically receive event details and a link to the county's sandbag locations map.
