FrogWatch Become a Citizen Scientist at South Manatee Library

Hop into action with FrogWatch USA and help protect our local frogs and toads! No experience needed—just a love of nature, curiosity to learn their unique calls, and a few evening visits to a nearby wetland. After training, it only takes 30 minutes once a month to make a real difference in saving these amazing amphibians! Ages 12+ Program suitable for ages 12 + As a volunteer, you’ll choose a monitoring site from a list of approved local locations and be directly involved in collecting valuable data that helps scientists understand and protect frog and toad populations.
