Hike with a Librarian: Emerson Point Preserve

Join us for a book/movie discussion led by Librarian Kira Thoenes, followed by a guided walk through Emerson Point Preserve, led by Coral Bass with the Manatee County Natural Resources Department!
Participants will meet at the pavilion next to the Welcome Center at Emerson Point Preserve: 5801 17th Street West, Palmetto, FL 34221.
The preserve is situated on the west end of Snead Island on the north shore of the Manatee River bordering Terra Ceia Bay. Throughout its hiking trails, you can experience a wide variety of Florida wildlife and natural habitats.
