Manatee County Stand Down

Manatee County and Turning Points are hosting a free Stand Down at 8 a.m. Nov. 1, 2025, at the Manatee County Fairgrounds, 1303 17th St. W., Palmetto. While the event goes until noon, the last entry for services is at 11:15 a.m.

Everyone is invited to this free event. Enjoy live music, food and fun as we connect Veterans and others in our community to valuable resources. Free shuttle service to the Fairgrounds is available at the downtown Bradenton Transit Station, 1301 6th Ave. W., Bradenton.

Available at the event, Amnesty court, lunch, kids games and activities, medical screenings, haircuts, raffles, dental screenings, veterans services, a career fair, eye exams, showers/hygiene items, live entertainment, Florida ID/drivers licenses and transportation.

More than 50 agencies will offer social services, healthcare and veteran support, including a career fair to explore new job opportunities. A Veterans Amnesty Court will provide relief from unpaid traffic fees and fines.

Stand Down brings our community together in a meaningful way, providing essential resources that help individuals and families achieve stability and create new opportunities. This event focuses on healthcare, employment opportunities, veterans' services and more, ensuring that everyone receives the necessary tools to thrive.
