Join Manatee County 4-H for an immersive and educational week-long Environmental Science Camp at Emerson Point Preserve! Young nature enthusiasts will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of environmental science through hands-on activities, observation, and conducting experiments. Each day of camp will have a different environmental focus, including soil, water, plants, insects, wildlife, marine science, and outdoor skills. Suitable for ages 9-13 Campers should bring a reusable water bottle, insect repellant, sunscreen, a hat/or sunglasses, a spare set of shoes and clothes that can get wet, and a towel. Marine activities will include wading in the water. Snacks will be provided, but campers are required to bring their own packed lunch to camp.
