Want to learn about native seed collection and help our land managers collect seeds? Escape the city sounds and spend the morning in nature at this vast 20,000-acre preserve helping collect native seeds for dispersing later on in other Manatee County Preserves. Program suitable for volunteers 16 and older. All harvesting tools will be provided. Please wear sun protection, closed-toe shoes, and bring a water bottle. Long sleeve shirt and long pants are recommended as participants will be walking through brush. To register contact [email protected].
