POSTPONED: For Kids Only (6-10 suggested ages): Bee Class!
Children enjoy seeing bees flitting about outside but may not know just how important they are to our environment. In this workshop the children will gain an awareness of native/solitary bees and how they are beneficial in the garden.
A stroll through our beautiful gardens will help them gain a better understanding of pollination and how important pollinators are to our very survival.
The children will learn the anatomy of and many interesting facts about native bees. They will also learn about native bee habitats and assemble and decorate a bee hotel to hang outside their home.
The class is limited to 15 children, ages 6-10.
$5 fee per child advance registration only, no in person registrations.
