COASTAL CLIMATE WALK: EARLY RESTORATION EFFORTS
Introducing a7-Part Coastal Climate Walk series from the Sarasota Audubon Society featuring interpretive walks on the effects of climate change on our coastal environment.Discover the first mangrove coastal restoration project on Sarasota Bay and learn how these mangroves were planted. Explore the mangrove forest boardwalk of Leffis Key, a popular bird migration stopover. Program suitable for adults. All walks are short with lots of time interpreting the natural and cultural history. Participants should wear walking shoes and dress for the weather. Reservations are required.
