LIBRARY LEARNINGS: TORTOISE ENCOUNTER
Bring your youngsters to the library this summer as we explore the wonders of Florida’s Wildlife! Get a chance to get up close and personal with Genbu our resident Gopher Tortoise. Discover what makes a gopher tortoise a key stone species and difference between a turtle and a tortoise. Finally journey inside a Gopher Tortoise burrow and meet some of the residents who live with a gopher tortoise. Program sponsored by the Manatee County Library System in partnership with PNRD.
