Mangroves are Survivalists! Workshop

Mangroves are survivors! With one foot on the land and one in water, mangroves live in salt water that would kill most other plants within an hour. They also gobble up huge amounts of carbon from the atmosphere, protect the shoreline from storm surges, and provide habitats for birds, mammals, fish, and crustaceans.

This presentation will provide an interesting insight into this important ecosystem.

$5 administrative fee. $8 day of workshop
