We may not even see any other humans during the paddle. This is for intermediate beginner paddlers who have paddled 6-8 miles. Program suitable for adults who can meet the County's minimum eligibility requirements. Participants must have their own canoe or kayak and safety gear. All participants must wear a life jacket. Launch is approx. 417 Terra Ceia Rd where the bridge crosses over Frog Creek at the head of Terra Ceia Bay. From Bradenton, take US41 North, bear left on US19 North. After crossing over Terra Ceia Bay, turn right onto Bayshore Rd. At the 'T' intersection, turn right onto Terra Ceia Rd. Frog Creek Bridge is approximately 1/2 mile. Reservations are required.
