Celebrate one of Florida’s most important residents: The Gopher Tortoise! Bring your family to Rye Preserve’s beautiful scrub habitat to learn all about these amazing creatures. Kids can complete their own Gopher Tortoise Passport and everyone will get a private tour of the Rye Nature Center. Enjoy hands-on activities and visit a gopher tortoise burrow on a nature walk. Program recommended for age 6-12 year olds, but all ages welcome. Reservations are required.
