We will launch from the Braden River Boat launch for a 2 hour-2 mile sunrise photo session with the birds of the Braden River Rookery. Join kayak guide and nature photographer, Wayne. Come to learn/share tips and techniques for great bird photography. Roseate Spoonbills, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Wood Storks, Cormorants and others are building nests, displaying and mating! We will be close enough for some great shots but will need to keep our distance to avoid stressing the birds. While not for first time kayakers, beginning kayakers are welcome. Participants must have their own canoe or kayak and safety gear. All participants must wear a life jacket. Children age 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required.
