This hands-on program will involve using plants to separate pigments for informative and creative projects. We’ll use plants to learn about the chemistry of acids and bases, the chemical separation of compounds in a mixture, and even making and dying our own homemade plastics! Our experiments and new knowledge of chemistry will also allow participants to come away with their own art projects. Program suitable for children ages 6 and older.
