Physics describes and predicts relationships between objects and their environment using concepts of energy and forces. This program will look at the lives and simple machines of early pioneers; use popcorn to demonstrate opposing forces, the sun to investigate radiation and kites and hula hoops to discover drag and the distribution of motion. We’ll build solar ovens, make ultraviolet artwork, design hovercrafts and more! Program suitable for children ages 6 and older. Reservations are required. Please call 941-748-4501 ext. 6044.
