Wildlife Lecture: Swallowtail Kites
The distinctive black and white shape of a swallowtail kite soaring above is a frequent sight in Manatee County during the spring months. Barbara Walker from the Audubon Society will discuss these beautiful birds, their habits, and habitats during this special focus wildlife talk. Bring a brown bag lunch and enjoy a picnic along the Manatee River at the nearby pavilion afterwards. Sponsored by the Florida Audubon Society. Program suitable for participants age 13 and older.
