Summer Learning: Life on the River
Another great event in our “summer of learning (indoors!)” series, this time at the Palmetto Historical Park & Agricultural Museum. They’re kicking off an awesome exhibit that features antique fishing tackle and we’re presenting a program all about the wildlife and plants found in and around Manatee County’s rivers. Take a “dive” into a world of fish, alligators, turtles, and herons with songs, games, stories and exciting hands-on exhibits. Peek inside a turtle shell to learn the secrets of a turtle’s home, learn how to “talk” to alligators, hunt like a heron, and more! Sponsored by the Palmetto Historical Park & Agricultural Museum, as part of their special exhibit on antique tackle, in partnership with Manatee County NRD. Event is suitable for all ages.
