We will launch from the Braden River Boat launch for a 2 hour-2 mile sunrise photo session with the birds of the Braden River Rookery. Come to learn/share tips and techniques for great bird photography. Roseatte Spoonbills, Great Egrets, Great Blue Herons, Wood Storks, Cormorrants and others are building nests, displaying and mating! We will be close enough for some great shots but will need to keep our distance to avoid stressing the birds. While not for first time kayakers, beginning kayakers are welcome. Participants must have their own canoe or kayak and safety gear. Children age 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required. Please call 941-742-5757 ext.7.
