Families Flock Together: Emerson Nightlife
The sun is going down and the stars are coming out. Join us for an evening and learn a little about the nightlife at Emerson Point Preserve. Hang with the bats, strut your stuff with the night herons and learn who’s who among owls. Hear about the different nocturnal critters that prowl the preserve after dark. Then, join Naturalist Aedan on a night hike to get a look at one of the prime feeding sites for bats in the preserve, where you can learn to use a bat detector and test your skills at echolocation. On the way back we will turn our gaze upward and learn a bit about the night sky. Program suitable for all ages. Reservations are required. Please call 941-742-5757 ext. 4.
