In celebration of Arbor Day, Manatee County’s Environmental Lands Management and Acquisition Advisory Committee will install a tree near the Emerson Point Visitor’s Center complex. A beautiful southern red cedar donated by ELMAC member Patsy Ugarte from Ugarte Architecture will be planted to celebrate the event. Please join us to celebrate trees and Arbor Day during this planting. The bird walk (see below) will begin immediately after the planting. Program suitable for all ages.
