The Rubonia Community Center at 1309 72nd Street East in Palmetto offers a friendly, neighborhood space for community activities, informal recreation, and small gatherings. The Center includes a small community library with donated books and a quiet reading area, along with volunteer-supported social activities such as bingo and other senior-friendly gatherings. An after-school program with bus transportation is already in place, providing a safe and convenient option for local students.

Youth programming updates
On December 17, 2025, our Board of County Commissioners approved funding to expand year-round youth services at the Center through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County. More details about these upcoming programs will be shared as they are developed.
