Holiday Closures: All Manatee Library locations will be closed on Wednesday, December 24 and Thursday, December 25 in observance of Christmas. All locations will resume normal hours on Friday, December 26. All locations will close early on Wednesday, December 31 at 6:00 PM, and will be closed Thursday, January 1 in observance of New Year's Day. 

The Little Discovery Center is an interactive learning space for children ages 2 to 5, and their caregivers. The space is an extension of the Central Library with the guidance of children's librarians for books, educational kits, toys, STEM learning stations, and more! The Little Discovery Center provides a place for preschool children to engage in activities that help cultivate literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.
