The Little Discovery Center is an interactive learning space for children ages 2 to 5, and their caregivers. The space is an extension of the Central Library with the guidance of children's librarians for books, educational kits, toys, STEM learning stations, and more! The Little Discovery Center provides a place for preschool children to engage in activities that help cultivate literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills.

Morning sessions (9:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m.) are by appointment only and may be booked online: Visit the Little Discovery Center or by calling 941-742-4058.

Afternoon sessions (12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.) are open.
