Purpose

The purpose of the Manatee County Government Efficiency Liaison Committee is to interface directly with the EOG DOGE Team and County administration as we collectively seek solutions to reduce local government spending. This approach benefits the EOG DOGE effort by availing us of private- sector expertise while simultaneously providing a venue for the public to participate, be informed, and contribute to the betterment of our community.

Membership Requirements

The Committee shall consist of the following:

  • 5 Members selected by majority vote of the Board
  • Each member must be a resident and registered voter in Manatee County
  • Must have expertise in accounting, finance, information technology, economics, auditing, or human resources.

Application

Applicants for the Government Efficiency Liaison Committee must complete the  Advisory Board Application, including the supplemental questions, background check, and provide a current and comprehensive resume or curriculum vitae. All documents must be completed and submitted for the applicant to be considered for appointment. 

Meeting Info

Meetings will take place monthly for up to one year(may only be extended by a majority vote of the board)

Meeting dates will be the Fourth Tuesday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
