Learning Express Library

What is it?

  • LearningExpress Library provides a comprehensive selection of educational resources, including more than 800 tutorials, practice exams, and eBooks.  

  • Practice tests include the GED, SAT, ACT, GRE, citizenship, ASVAB, as well as Civil Service and nursing exams.

Getting Started

Access Learning Express Library through any web browser:

  1. Go to the library’s website and click on the orange Research & Learning button and then on the Tutorials and Practice Tests button. Finally, click on the LearningExpress Library link.

  2. You may browse the site before registering but you must create with an account to use the materials. To do so, click the blue Sign In/Register button in the upper right of the page.  Click Register and select Library Card. Type your barcode into the box and click Create Account. You can register using an email address or click "Register without email" to create your own username. Fill out the form and click the blue Register button.

Using Learning Express Library

  1. On the landing page, you’ll find prominent icons for the core content areas – called Centers. The Centers house all the tutorials, practice exams, and eBooks and are organized by areas of interest. Click the icon of a Center that interests you to open the Guidance tab and choose your next step to start on your path to learning.

  2. You can also use the search bar at the top of the page to search for a specific test, tutorial, or eBook.

  3. You can save your progress and continue later by clicking the Save and Finish Later button at the upper right of the test or tutorial page.

  4. To track your progress, click your name or username in the upper right-hand side of the page and click My Center. My Center will show you all courses, tests, and tutorials that you have started and completed.
