Water and Wastewater Rates Effective June 1, 2026

Example Monthly Bill: Single-Family Residential Customers
(using 5/8" meter with both water and sewer services)

  • Water Usage in Gallons: 6,000
  • Water/Sewer: $103.83
  • Curbside Garbage: $23.65
  • Total Bill: $130.48

Your monthly water and sewer charges consist of two parts:

  1. Base Charge – A fixed charge determined by meter size or the number of units.
  2. Quantity Charge – Based on the amount of water used.


Water and Sewer Base Charge Rates Effective June 1, 2026

The base charge covers fixed costs, including meter reading, billing, customer service, and operations at the treatment plants.

Potable Water Quantity Charges

Covers operating costs of the water distribution system and treatment plant. Charges are based on usage (in thousands of gallons).

Individual Residential Meters

  • First 6,000 gallons: $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
  • Next 9,000 gallons: $3.89 per 1,000 gallons
  • Next 5,000 gallons: $9.36 per 1,000 gallons
  • Over 20,000 gallons: $14.07 per 1,000 gallons

Master-Metered Dwellings

  • Single Family: Same as individual residential meters.
  • Condos/Apartments:
    • First 4,500 gallons: $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
    • Next 6,500 gallons: $3.89 per 1,000 gallons
    • Over 11,000 gallons: $9.36 per 1,000 gallons
  • Mobile Home/Travel Trailer Parks:
    • First 3,600 gallons: $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
    • Next 5,400 gallons: $3.89 per 1,000 gallons
    • Over 9,000 gallons: $9.36 per 1,000 gallons

Non-Residential

  • Commercial/Industrial: $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
  • Large User: $2.58 per 1,000 gallons

Irrigation Meters

  • 1" and Smaller:
    First 5,000 Gallons $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
    Next 15,000 Gallons $9.36 per 1,000 gallons
    Over 20,000 Gallons $14.07 per 1,000 gallons
  • 1 1/2" and Larger:
    First 5,000 Gallons $3.11 per 1,000 gallons
    Next 10,000 Gallons $3.89 per 1,000 gallons
    Next 15,000 Gallons $5.03 per 1,000 gallons
    Next 30,000 Gallons $7.75 per 1,000 gallons
    Next 40,000 Gallons $9.36 per 1,000 gallons
    Over 100,000 Gallons $14.07 per 1,000 gallons


Wastewater (Sewer) Quantity Charge


Based on 100% of water usage. For residential customers with individual meters, the charge is capped at 10,000 gallons per month.

  • Residential & Non-Residential – Individual Meters: $6.89 per 1,000 gallons of potable water consumption

Retail customers are billed at 100% of water consumption.

Current Reclaim Water Rates

Agricultural facilities including nurseries: 14 cents per 1,000 gallons

Large recreational facilities and golf courses: 27 cents per 1,000 gallons

Governmental facilities including schools: 49 cents per 1,000 gallons

Large commercial, industrial and utility facilities (greater than 500,000 gallons/day): 49 cents per 1,000 gallons

Residential and commercial common areas: 49 cents per 1,000 gallons

Master metered residential and commercial: 49 cents per 1,000 gallons

Individual metered residential, commercial and industrial: $1.22 per 1,000 gallons
