Manatee County's Public Works Department provides resurfacing and roadway maintenance to publicly-owned roads within the unincorporated portions of Manatee County. On our website, you will find information about the Manatee County Board of County Commissioner's 5-year Pavement Management Plan. The plan is funded annually at approximately $4.5 Million to address resurfacing needs on local and thoroughfare roadways throughout the County.

Additional road paving takes place each year as part of other projects within the County's Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). At times, the scope of work and/or the funding amounts require even pavement-only jobs be included within the CIP under a separate budget line item.
