Manatee County is headed to the Capital for the 2nd Annual Manatee Days, bringing business and community leaders together to showcase the best our county has to offer, build connections, and learn more about the issues that matter most to our region.

Hosted by the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Manatee Days provides a unique opportunity to take our community’s priorities directly to the state’s decision-makers. Throughout the two-day experience, attendees will meet with members of the Florida Legislature, state officials, and key policymakers to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing Manatee County and the greater Lakewood Ranch region.

More than 80 community leaders and representatives from local businesses and organizations traveled to Tallahassee to take part in the first-ever Manatee County Day in 2026. In total, 24 businesses and organizations were represented before state legislators, highlighting what makes Manatee County unique while advocating for legislation and policies that directly impact our community and local economy.
