County Attorney's Office
The County Attorney’s Office is a professional law office comprehensively serving the legal needs of the Board of County Commissioners as the governing body of Manatee County. The County Attorney’s Office also provides supervision, monitoring, and coordination of the Risk Management Division and the operation of risk management and claims administration, including workers' compensation, general and property liability and safety, and related issues, together with the administration of the self-insurance ordinance.
Pamela D’Agostino was appointed as County Attorney by the Board of County Commissioners in 2024. Mrs. D’Agostino previously served for over seven years as an Assistant State Attorney for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit in Manatee County from 2007 to 2015, then for over eight years as an Assistant County Attorney for Manatee County from 2015 to 2023, and then for over eight months as General Counsel for the School District of Manatee County, Florida. Mrs. D’Agostino holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Auburn University, and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law.
