Kick-off Weekend with a Party
Join American Legion Kirby Stewart Post 24 and kick-off the July 3rd weekend with a party! The event starts at 3 p.m. at American Legion Post 24, 2000 75th St. W., Bradenton.
Celebrate American 250 with a free, open admission, public welcome event. The event kicks off with a 3 p.m. Apple Pie Baking Contest, with a $100 first prize. From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., enjoy Jimmy Keith Band. Dinner will be served from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., a great menu at a great price. Try the fish & chips! Free Apple Pie a la Mode for Dessert (while supplies last).
