Homeschool Science Club: Gopher Tortoises at Conservatory Park

Celebrate National Gopher Tortoise Day by meeting a live gopher tortoise up close and discovering why these amazing diggers are nature’s engineers! Explore a burrow, learn how it shelters hundreds of other animals, and uncover the secret world beneath your feet. Then, get hands-on and build your own burrow model in this fun and interactive class you won’t want to miss! Program suitable for ages 7-13. Homeschool Science Club explores scientific and natural concepts through games, crafts, and activities encouraging students to be active outdoors.
