Garden Club: Seed Starting [NEW TIME]
Join us behind the library in the Palmetto Branch Learning Garden for hands-on instruction! We'll work together to maintain, prune, and beautify the space under the guidance of the Manatee County's Community Garden Specialists, Brittany and Natalie!
This month's topic: Seed Starting
Learn how to grow flowers and vegetables from seeds successfully, and avoid common mistakes! Participants are welcome to bring their own supplies of seeds and seed trays/containers for personalized instruction and guidance. No seeds? No problem! Check out seeds from our Seed Library at no charge!
Everyone is welcome, regardless of prior gardening experience. Young children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Limited gloves and tools are provided, but patrons are welcome to bring their own.
