As a Volunteen, you’ll roll up your sleeves and help preserve the natural beauty of Manatee County’s preserves through hands-on conservation work. From weeding and removing invasive plants to trail maintenance and habitat restoration, you’ll play a vital role in protecting local ecosystems while gaining valuable skills, making new friends, and spending time outdoors. Program suitable for volunteers ages 14-18 Long-sleeved lightweight clothing is recommended. Ice water, gloves, safety glasses, masks and all other materials will be provided.
