Come help us construct a new enclosure for our rehabilitated gopher tortoise, Genbu, who is an ambassador for our education team that teaches the importance of gopher tortoises in Florida. We will be using treated posts and lumber, wire mesh, concrete mix, cordless drills, saws, and screws. Construction experience would be appreciated but not required. Program suitable for adult volunteers. All materials will be provided, including materials, tools, gloves, safety goggles, etc. Please wear closed-toed shoes and dress for construction outdoors.
