Seasonal Resilience: Management Strategies to Maximize Winter Performance




Join us to learn more about strategies for supplementation during the winter months and how to use your forage as a resource. We will also talk about how to maximize rumen performance, early weaning and of course the cost of supplementation.

The day will begin with talks on supplementation strategies and stockpiling forage and hay at Pearce Cattle Company. Once we conclude with the tour and talks we will travel to the Okeechobee Civic Center for lunch and a Feed Vendor Trade Show. After lunch we will have speakers talking about maximizing rumen performance, early weaning strategies and we will conclude the day with a talk on the economic impacts of supplementation.
