BUILD AN OYSTER REEF AT PERICO PRESERVE
Join SBEP and Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources Department to bag oyster shell and build an oyster reef at Perico Preserve in Bradenton. The reef will provide habitat for wildlife, improve water quality, and stabilize shorelines in the preserve. This work will be tough, but very rewarding. Suitable for volunteers ages 12 and older.
