WILD FL 101: BIOCUBE PROJECT

How much life exists in one cubic foot of space? Find out by taking part in our newest citizen science opportunity, The Biocube Project. In this program, we will be constructing aluminum cubes, deploying them at different locations around the preserve, and observing and identifying the organisms that enter the space of the cube. Data from this project will be submitted to a worldwide citizen science project developed by the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. To learn more about the Biocube Project visit https://naturalhistory.si.edu/biocube Program recommended for adults. Reservations are required.
