This FREE workshop is designed for the commercial landscape irrigation professional who installs or repairs in-ground irrigation systems in their landscape business.
Jim Fletcher, Regional Specialized Agent IV, Water Resources with the University of Florida is the Interim UF IFAS Statewide BMP Coordinator will be the guest speaker. His main topic will be the use of drones and sensor technology including IR, Thermal and LIDAR to determine irrigation demands and scheduling, as well as potential nutrient loading in plants. Other topics to be discussed will the Manatee County Water Conservation Outdoor Water Rebate Program, Water-Wise Program for clients, basic irrigation repairs and site problems, and more.
Lunch will be provided to this FREE workshop.
