October 11th to October 14th, the Florida Birding & Nature Festival is coming to the Hillsborough Community College Brandon Campus. This festival celebrates the wonders of the birds, wildlife, and natural lands that we enjoy in West Central Florida. Join staff from Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources on a guided wagon tour of Duette Preserve. We will roll through the preserve at the height of wildflower season to explore a variety of habitats including bottom land forest, flatwoods, and scrub. We often see scrub jays, swallow tailed kites, kestrels, meadowlarks, deer, gopher tortoises, and Bachman’s sparrows Registration is required.
