Suitable for ages 13 and older. Take a flashlight hike to the Rye family cemetery to shine a bit of light on Florida’s haunted past. There are some spooky tales about Manatee County’s preserves and some hair-raising historical stories about what happens after dark in our native state of Florida. We’ll share a few ghost stories and talk about the ghost town of Rye Preserve, too. Afterwards enjoy an old fashioned marshmallow roast around a campfire. Reservations are required.
