What is a Memory Café?
A memory cafe is a comfortable social gathering that welcomes people with memory loss and their loved ones. We gather to help you connect, socialize, and build new support groups in a stigma-free environment.
Who can attend?
Both the person living with a cognitive decline, Alzheimer’s Disease, or related dementias, along with their primary caregiver or a loved one. Cafés are not designed to offer drop-off respite care. They are designed to offer support to both the person living with a cognitive decline or dementia and their caregivers or loved ones.
What happens there?
We focus on bringing people together and fostering new friendships through socializing, interaction, and engaging activities. Attendees can choose how they wish to participate and what they want to share with others.
