The Fiscal Services Division provides comprehensive fiscal support to department directors and managers for the daily operations of County initiatives. Staff perform highly technical, professional, and analytical work, contributing to the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of the County’s budget, capital improvement program, and revenue forecasts.

Fiscal Services assists departments in preparing and administering their budgets, analyzes departmental budget requests and revisions, and evaluates the financial impacts of major policy, fiscal, and operational issues. The Division also reviews financial policies, practices, and systems; identifies reserve requirements for various funds; and ensures that the annual budget is balanced and compliant with accounting standards, Florida statutes, and County ordinances and resolutions.

Fiscal Services works closely with the Budget and Procurement Divisions, as well as the Clerk of the Circuit Court, to ensure continuity and efficiency in daily operations.
